Mr. André Luiz Nunes de Souza
André received his Bachelor and M.Sc degree in Electrical Engineering in 2013 and 2018, respectively. In his thesis, entitled “Parameter selection in optical networks with variable-code-rate transceivers”, he proposed a framework to select the best set of transmission parameters (symbol rate, modulation format, coding rate and number of subcarriers) in elastic optical networks. From 2015 to 2020 André was a researcher at CPQD, focusing on digital signal processing, channel coding and modelling for high-capacity optical communication systems.
